Information on the Discontinuation of coilDNA Business Activities

After six years of intensive market development, we have decided, after careful consideration, to discontinue the business activities of coilDNA. The main reasons for this decision are the lack of sustainable economic success and insufficient market demand.

Over the past years, we had the opportunity to engage in many valuable discussions on material tracking with partners and customers and to implement several technically very successful pilot projects. In these projects, coilDNA proved to be a highly suitable technology for tracking materials and the parts manufactured from them.
Despite consistently positive technical feedback, however, it was in most cases not possible to transition from successful pilot applications to paid license models. In addition, our experience shows that the market for data-based business models in the industrial environment is not yet sufficiently mature to sustainably support an independent and scalable business model for a start-up such as coilDNA.
We would like to sincerely thank all partners and customers for their trust, professional support and cooperative collaboration.

Until the cessation of our business activities, we will conclude ongoing matters in an orderly manner and remain available for any questions.
